CARDS OS MONO test is designed to detect the IgM heterophile antibodies in serum, plasma or whole blood. The CARDS OS assay utilizes an extract of bovine erythrocytes which give a greater sensitivity and specificity than similar extracts prepared from sheep and horse erythrocytes.
