The BioDynamics 310 (US version) is a practical and cost-effective system for measuring Body Composition-Body Fat. Using sensor pads (also called ECG pads) placed on the test subject's right wrist and ankle, a cable attached to the sensor pads and plugged into the BIA 310 generates a low-level electrical current that flows through the body. The individual's gender, age, height and weight are entered. This data, along with the measured resistance, is used to estimate the test subject's percentage of body fat, fat weight, lean weight, basal metabolic rate, and hydration status. The BIA 310 can also provide personalized body fat and weight-control goals. Portable and powered by rechargeable batteries. No additional computer or printer is required.
